The crushinator
Watch as ordinary bottle caps are transformed into flat pieces of metal, ready for the next artistic masterpiece!
Caps must often be flattened before they can be used on a project. Simply using a press or hammering them flat would cause the side wall to collapse underneath the cap. Previously, I used a trailer hitch bolted to a small arbor press to spay the cap. Then I used a larger press to flatten it. The Crushinator combines both operations into a single tool, reducing the cycle time by 400% producing a much flatter cap.
